The project
Alexa is a vegan food creator and recipe developer rooted in her Mexican-American story — born and raised in San Diego, weaving cultural memory into plant-powered dishes. Her Instagram was full of life, flavor, and community, but her DIY website never captured that same energy. It felt flat, disconnected, and not worthy of the vibrant food and personality she shares every day.
She longed for a home for her recipes, a place that mirrors her warmth, makes her followers feel welcome, and makes her proud to share her work beyond social feeds.
Our approach
We built Alexa’s online presence with intention, authenticity, and a deep respect for her cultural and personal story — combining modern design with earthy warmth, so her brand feels alive rather than just functional.
The truths we chose to bring forward:

꩜ A color palette rooted in earth tones — warm, rich, approachable, culturally resonant;
꩜ A logo that balances contemporary presence with organic personality — reflecting her bicultural identity;
꩜ Visual patterns and details that feel like a kitchen story unfolding — not decorative for the sake of decoration, but expressive of rhythm and craft;
꩜ A website that feels like a welcoming table — intuitive, delightful to navigate, and deeply reflective of Alexa’s voice and style;
The final design is more than a digital home for recipes — it’s a place that feels like her kitchen, her story, and her community.
